The fact that they've managed to do as much as they have is pretty darn impressive, however simple it seems. That's probably a vast misrepresentation of the process, but what it amounts to is Frostbite doesn't like mods, so the modders have had to find workarounds and that gets complicated. The mod manager automates most of the work so you don't have to. Hang on, so does that with this I can change both the Skyhold pajamas and the Halamshiral Nutcracker outfits?? I believe so. At least I'm not aware of any method of manually installing mods for this game.

There's one that removes class restrictions for armor and another for weapons. Removing weapon restrictions without significant rebalancing of weapon damage causes serious balance issues.
